Founder Gene Wukie got his start in 1952 doing quality upholstery work out of a converted chicken coop. From there his business grew until in the late 50's he and wife Theresa bought an old body shop and converted it to a furniture showroom where Gene still did upholstery work out of the back. In 1990 Gene and Theresa retired and handed the business over to their oldest daughter Diana Fritz and her husband Rick. To this day Wukie Interiors is still located in the same converted body shop that Gene and Theresa bought so many years ago. Although they no longer do upholstery work the same commitment to quality and customer satisfaction that Gene and Theresa held dear still stands to this day.
